Yep; I put 158,000 miles on my first GDI car- and a turbo to boot. No problems and I never ran less than a 5,000 mile OCI, which I eventually bumped up to 7,500 miles. I'm now on my second turbo GDI, and I'm running a 10,000 mile OCI.
I'm sure certain disaster awaits...
