Copper plug life

There's some rule regarding California emissions that means the first tune up (that the customer pays for) is at 100-120k, all but demanding plantium/ iridium plugs. If one goes through their owners manual as to what counts as an emissions service, this odd detail comes up.

IDK how dodge does it with the Hemi, which runs 30k coppers.

That's all old history. 5.7's used to run coppers exclusively. 6.1's, which were nearly identical, ran Iridiums. Despite all the hoo hah online they both run well on either plug, so no Hemi owner has to put up with 30k dealer visits...

pulled some lazer iridiums out at 150K, 50 over scheule, and they looked great but was glad to put some fresh ones in.
