I mostly carry a five shooter. And gunfights are hard. If I get a good hit I want damage to be done with that shot not have to repeat several times in a intense, violent, dynamic situation. I'm sure you're so skilled you could simply shoot eye sockets. I can't. I'm really not that thrilled carrying .38 135 gr Golddots since they aren't the best penetrators.
 
No. Powder coating is just a coating on conventional bullets. These bullets are copper/polymer.

You could probably do the same with aluminum bullets vs exotic composition to get a lightweight non expanding bullet.
 
I think it's an interesting twist on bullet design and it might have some real potential. Some real world scenarios would be helpful.
