First of all, I have to say that I'm once again impressed with the service I got from Wearcheck. I did this oil change this morning, dropped the sample off at the lab just before noon hour and they emailed me my results before dinner time!
I went almost two years on this oil and it didn't look too bad at all really. A lot of Corvette guys stick to a one year interval even if they've only done 3 or 4000 miles and I decided before I put the car away in the fall of 2014 that with the oil life monitor well above 50% and less than 4000 miles on the oil at that time, that it was too soon to drain the oil and decided to push it one more driving season. No harm no foul, IMO.
