Hello to you all.

After visiting BITOG for a while, it's time for my first post

I have purchased a BMW Z4 E89 sDrive23i with 57k km some months ago.
It has a N52 6-cylinder engine.
After purchasing, i have replaced the engine oil and filter.
As a Castrol fan, i use their Edge 0W-30 FST, which is fairly cheap if you buy it at the right location.

I drive it only a few times a week, no short trips. Don't drive it very hard, but will hit redline now and then. I do about 10k km per year.
Would like to hear your comments about the best OCI in my case.

Nice car.

What is the manufacturer recommended OCI in your country?

Out here it's 10k miles and 1 year, whichever comes first. Personally, I'd probably just stick to 1 annual oil change for simplicity's sake.

ACEA C3 229.31?

In Europe, where the OP is, these types of oils are dual rated for both diesels and gasoline engines because their gasoline is ultra low sulfur.

Thanks

The OCI is calculated by the onboard computer or 2 years at most.

This oil is for both gasoline and diesel. Also BMW LL04 spec.
Indeed fuel over here contains almost no sulfur.
