Any great JB-Weld sucsess stories?

My 1995 Mercury Sable developed a rust hole in the oil pan. JB Weld has been holding up for just about a year now.

The hardest part was getting the area clean and dry enough for the JB to adhere. I let the oil drain for 2 days and used brakleen to get it degreased.

I never hd a great success fixing anything with it but after welding metal patch panels on doing body work its fantastic.
After welding , grind it down to get good rough surface and squeegee the stuff right into the weld seams front and back (if possible).
Sand it down then put the filler on, it prevents rust for forming on the weld seam and breaking through.

I have a toilet in which someone had leaned against the tank putting about a 5 inch crack into it. The tank was not available so I used good old JB Weld and it has been leak free for over 8 years now!
