I own a 91 Honda Civic Hatchback Si with 496k miles (5 speed Manual).
Recently, I have been noticing that my car will not start unless the clutch pedal is pushed down to the floor with extra force. The clutch foot pedal clearly makes contact with the floor but when you turn the key you get silence. When you proceed to step down a little harder and turn the key, the car starts without a problem.
Is there a simple adjustment that can be performed to the clutch pedal mechanism.
I remember replacing a white hard plastic grommet on my brake pedal mechanism that deactivated the brake lights from turning on continuously. Hope its something similar
