Went Fishing tonight

After work I went for a couple hours of pier fishing. 20 minutes after sunset I caught a kingfish the size of a wine bottle. Croakers tend to be full of parasites and I don't care for the taste to begin with, so I gave the fish to my buddy. He can feed it to his cat.

Good for you for enjoying one of life's timeless mysteries. News says it's warm in your neck of the woods. It's a balmy -1 degrees here. Wish I could go fishing. Gonna be in the high 20s Sunday, so I might go out. Mostly for Calico Bass and perch thru the ice this time of year.

It was fairly cool at about 52°F. I'm glad I don't need an ice drill to go fishing!

On my way home after work I crossed over my mostly frozen favorite river and dreamed of catching some smallmouth once it warms up. Glad you could enjoy some time fishing.
