kawasaki bayou 225 rear tires locked up

hey guys, got a 97 kawasaki bayou 225 atv, i rode it a few weeks ago and everyhting was fine, when i get on it today the rear tires are locked up for some reason, what could be causing the rear end to lock ?

Bob is the fix the quad guy. A 1997 ? dig into the axle or shop it.

Up here I might hope that the brake drum got some water in it and froze... Probably not likely in your area.

If I am correct they have drum brakes and that is quite common for the cam to freeze up and keep the brakes pushed out. Hit the drum with a hammer and they sometimes free up. This was common on the old Honda ATC's.
