Soot Conversion

I used to receive used oil samples showing soot content in UFM, I now receive them with a weight (%) reading. UFM stands for Unsubtracted FTIR Method, I don't know the units for it, I just get used oil samples back with a UFM reading instead of a weight percentage (%) reading and I was wondering how to convert the two? I think the relationship is linear I just can't compare the previous results to the present ones without being able to convert the two.

Can you ask your lab how to convert the results?

I have and they just ask for specific results and convert them for me. I would rather have a table or an equation to use for quick reference.
