I have a new TGA8775A vs the 2 year old ACDelco A1618C "Duramax" air filter I pulled out of my Silverado 5.3L gasser. Comparing the two it looks like they are both manufactured by the same company. Seal, wire backing and even pleat waviness looks similar except the media used and number of pleats.
19166111 is the 8 digit GM part number. I can't decipher the xxxxxMMx code.
The xxxxMMx does not look like Fram oil filter's date code but I'm sure it's some sort of date code. Note the similar codes though. It's possible these two filters are made in the same plant under a main brand. ACDelco filters could be Fram filters?
