New rotors and pads squealing?!

Last few sets I've bought came with all required hardware. Federated for the Camry and... something from a TDI online shop for the Jetta, but he puts together package deals.

At some point I would like to buy the stainless clips for the vehicles as I get tired of filing them down every time.

Wow! I have read dozens of reports re Akebono pads on various automotive forums and all have been enthusiastically positive. This is the first report of them making any noise.

Absolutely false. If the installation is perfect the pad material can still make noise.

My car shipped with Jurid pads in Brembo fixed four piston calipers. As long as you worked them, and I mean WORKED, they were quiet as a mouse. But when the Wife took the car out for a few days to shop and tool around they would begin to squeal.

A quick 100-0 stop and they would be quiet again for weeks...

How long does lube last? I've put on Sta-Lube and found it gone six months later.
