There's nothing wrong with that. I fully support his right to consumer rage.

I just hope he doesn't expect to convince the world of his convictions.

You are making one statement about inline 6 engines, and that isn't fair.

BMW continues to use them, and they work well.
Most manufacturers eliminated inline sixes, not because they were bad, but because making them fit under the hood of the car isn't easy. It led to the end of some really good inline 6 engines, such as the Nissan L and RB series, the Toyota JZ series, and the Ford 300CI

Excellent. Many people here have such strong opinions about something they have never owned or driven...

Driven several...they drove fine, when they ran! Five engines, five diasaters, two companies that will never buy a Ford diesel (one won't buy another FORD) again.

Agreed. They earned that one.

But as further posts indicate, people do not always use rational thinking to decide what car to buy. I just laugh when folks imply that any car mfgr is really the king, because I know the same exact process is used to justify that!

I'm pretty sure his remarks are confined to the Chrysler "slant six" and not six's in general.

Yes. This is exactly what I am doing. I forgot to mention how the paint on the vehicle started fading also. This reminds me of a few years back I saw a newer model charger with typical dodge paint fade on a model that was not more then 2 years old. SInce this is a smart phone world I might just start taking pictures of new model dodge products with paint fade and posting them.

I don't want to overly sound like a basher but I you knew the level of vehicle maintenance and upkeep that I do you would understand. I have a vehicle in my garage that is 15 years old. Paint is immaculate condition and all original. This vehicle sat in direct florida sunlight for 5 years while the [censored] dodge was garaged evenings and weekends. In those 5 years the dodge was already showing signs of bad paint fade. Both vehicles were waxed with same wax and same biyearly application. My 15 year old car does not show one bit of fade today.
