I did not know anything was wrong with him.

We have hosted him at least three times at our concert series (the last itme only about a year ago), he was one of my faves and a h****va nice dude (NO; ego/attitude/etc. issues), and wrote some phenomenal songs; "Yankee Lady", "A Showman's Life", "Biloxi", etc.

Yes, RIP songman.
