filters!
I didn't know they were THAT popular.
The filters in question are
Purolator L15315/PL15315/PSL15315
Bosch 3412
Mann HU 819/x
The Bosch 3412 seems to be a reboxed Classic L15315.
Strangely enough, the PSL usually costs about $5 *less* than the P1, even though all of them are overpriced (cartridge filters shouldn't cost more than a spin-on and should actually be cheaper). The P1 has blue media.
The Mann filter is made in Spain. All the others are US-made.
My question is, with the likely low volume application it is, why do they make so many filters for it? I'm surprised Purolator and Bosch don't just rebox the Mann! Remember, Purolator is owned by Bosch and Mann.
