Ridgid no. 40 pipe cutter

Hello all,

Long time lurker here, registered a while back, first time post. I wanted to share what I think is a great tool for oil filter dissection. Found this on ebay for $21. Took it apart, cleaned off the mung, lubed the axles, and polished the cutter. I will be posting some filters I used this pipe cutter on. I think it worked well. Hope someone finds this helpful.

Nice tool. Those vintage Ridgid cutters are pricey but they last a lifetime.

I just bought a used Ridgid No. 40 on eBay for $24. Got a new blade from Home Depot for $11. Should be a solid filter cutter for $35. Won't need to use it for a few months though.
