Anybody know what would be good to remove road line paint from the bottom of rocker panels and rear fenders? It happened this morning and I want to tackle it tomorrow.

I had splatter dots on my rockers from road paint. Clay didn't take care of it. I used soapy water and my thumbnail to gently dislodge it, then polished the area and waxed it. Looked good as new. It was time consuming, though.

They should allow the paint to dry before letting vehicles roll on it.... or have a free bikini wash at the end of the paint works. Naw... then there might not be much fresh road paint for the vehicles driving in circles just for multiple washes.

Also, you need the right words for this job. I suggest...

$%^&*(*&^%$%^&*!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#$#@#$%^%$#!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the ever-popular #$%^U&^$%^&!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the end, if the suggestions don't work, check out a reputable body shop. My bad luck some years ago was to get tar and oil from the road construction all over my Town Car. A local body shop used an appropriately safe thinner and had me on my way as good as new for $20. I guess they took pity on my sob story.
