I'm trying to locate a radiator coolant hose that runs from the radiator just above the lower hose then makes a 45* turn then it is crimped metal goes around the AC compressor then it become rubber again and goes the the back of the motor.
There are 4 hoses that come off the radiator this one is made .75" Diameter.
I pulled up a MC part number KM 3270, but I I'm sure that is right I can't find a diagram ANYWHERE.
Anyone got a cooling system diagram with hoses for a Ford Escort Zx2 97-03?
Thanks,
Dustin

fordparts.com has some diagrams. It's not nearly as good as having bdcardinal jump out and give you the part number you need with a bow on it, but it's worth a look.

Haha thanks for the good words. Someone send me a pm and I will check tomorrow.

Thanks bd.
This hose isn't listed anywhere that I can see. it is the coolant hose that runs just below the ac compressor it is a metal line crimped hose

ranger,
I thought that was it too at first. But that is over by the thermostat. it looks VERRRRY similar to that one though.
Thanks,
Dusty

I have spent over 1.5 hours at the dealer, they think they have the right hose ordered. He took pictures with his phone and sent them to another dealer, ran the vin, engine build date and car build date. I even pulled the splash cover off in the parking lot for him to try to get a part number off of it.
It should be in tomorrow. Price=

If it was me, I would have gone with

F8CZ-18B402-AA and F8CZ-18472-AB.

The 18B402 is the front rubber section and the 18472 has the rear rubber section with the tube portion.

There is a part for the entiry assembly, but unless the metal pipe portion is rusted through, you can just get the two rubber hose ends and cut off the metal crimps, and replace with the new hoses and hose clamps. I did just that last weekend on my daughter's '99.

DrDusty I work at a Ford dealer and also have an '03 ZX2 so I'm always scrounging stuff for it. It's amazing what's still available from Ford for these cars. PM me in the future and I can probably help hook you up with what you're looking for.
