New to the group and have read many of the articles, posts, etc. Of the many products available containing moly, I'm confused by the treatment intervals, ie Mr Moly, Molyshield, Moly EP, Molytech, etc. some say every oil change, some much longer. What is the real deal?

I have to agree with chris.. There is many types of moly, some good in oil, some not so good. The additive chemistry in oils can "re act" with an added additive therefore causing a problems with maybe oxidation levels increasing and such. There is several oils manufactured that use moly that is blended into the oil and not just added. This really is a better way.

If you feel the oil you're using isn't up to par, then find one that is, and use it. Don't try pulling brain surgery on yourself, or be your own lawyer as it never seems to work out for your best interests, in this case, engine longevity.
