Seafoam is one of the few additives that I use. It's very poplular up here. I have been told that it's simular to the Marvel Mystery Oil.
I use it in the gas as a cleaner 2-3 times a year.
It also makes a great water scavanger in the gas when the temps get really cold, so your fuel lines don't freeze up. This is nice for people who don't want to use alcohol as fuel dryer.
In my carbed 85 chevy truck, I pour it down the carb twice a year to clean things out before a oil change.
Before I heard about autorx, I used to use seafoam in the oil to clean the engine internally. It not as harsh as "flush in can".
I also use it as a fuel stabilizer, in the gas can that I use to fill my snow blower and lawun mower.
Seafoam, auto-rx, and Techron are the only additives that I use.
