Neutra 131

I have a friend who has a 97 chevy 350 vortec. He is getting some strange noises. Not really a piston slap. He thinks it may be carbon. He wants to put at least 30 onces of 131 in his gas tank which holds about 28 gallons. Is this to much? Can he put more in? How much is to much?

I agree with your friends concern. High speed lighter pistons combined with poor solvency in todays fuels is a carbon building combo.

Follow the directions on the 131 literature or the bottle.

Clean as directed don't try to do it all in one application.
