I have 2 1966 Chryslers and I alternate which one I use each year. I run the Newport one year, then the 300 the next.
Currently, I change the oil and filter and fill the fuel tank and put in Stabil for 2 year treatment before storage at the end of the season. I've been using the new formula version for ethanol fuels.
The question is: Is this practice still safe to do on my classics?

I've been using the red with the "Improved Corrosion Resistance Formula" on it. It says it's for today's ethanol blended fuels. If this isn't good, I'll look into the other one.

You might want to go ahead and get the Marine Stabil or Startron. You are storing those for a while and I would want the best I could get in there. Startron is really good.

Off-topic: I saw a white Newport today, not sure what year. That car didn't roll, it floated over the tarmac. Considering how it dwarfed everything else in the parking lot, that wasn't surprising.

Back on topic: If it works, why mess with it?
