My uncle is looking at new tires for his Pilot. I am the resident redneck/gearhead but don't know anything about tires for this vehicle. He is sold on tirerack and saw these...

225/65 R17
Michelin
BFG
any recommendations?

A good buddy of mine just bought a new '11 Chevy Equinox with these Michelin Latitude's in the same 225-65-17 and they're great but, the whole vehicle is brand new and quiet/tight. I'd have to say...Michelin Latitude just from the experience of his new vehicle.
 
bridgestone alenzas: quiet, great all around traction. last forever. great quality. doens't take much to balance them out. owned 3 sets over the years.

firestone destination LE. it's last year's alenza, but less expensive. stiff sidewall is nice on the taller vehicle.
