planning a drain fill on 95 toyota paseo

I forgot to add that... my bad..

yes its automatic...

any idea how I can find the drain for the differential? manual doesn't state... and when I went under all I found was the drain plug for the motor oil and atf

The ATF drain is what you are after I'm sure.
The diff in my Saturn is in the trans, ATF drain and fill services it.
 
When in doubt, look. If you see the 2nd drain plug(under wear both axles plug into the transmission), then look for a fill plug above it.

Toyotas vary with separate or shared sumps over the years. Most FWD transmissions are shared now in order to shear the fluid equally.

There is a picture here of what it 'might' look like and is similar to all Toyotas.
