Did Mobil 1 recently change the synth. ATF fluid?

I was about to ask this same kind of question when I saw this thread. I tried asking Mobil why Honda, Toyota, and Subaru applications are no longer listed, but they don't seem to be responding. I've been using it in my Honda, should I ditch it? Or is it OK as long as the bottle I last used said suitable for ATF-Z1 applications?

1---It is not the name of the fluid, it is the additive pack in the current version of the fluid. If Mobil changed the add pack, then the current version of their fluid evidently is "recommended" for a different list of transmissions.

2---None of these multi-vehicle fluids ever met the specs for all the transmissions listed, and maybe never exactly met any of the specs. They are close enough that Mobil will put their reputation behind using the fluid in the listed transmissions. But they did not exactly meet the spec, and/or Mobil never paid the fees to get them tested and licensed (likely the former).

Its still claims Jaso1a. That covers many Asian ATFs.
Problem is, what is Mobil1 trying to do? Make a low volume ATF even lower volume?

Is OK. Just use Amsoil, Redline, Amalie, or RoyalPurple.

Not impressed:

And a multivehicle ATF that isn't:

Wheres the cold weather benefit of a full synthetic when the blend flows/pumps better when cold?

Mobil-1 36.3cst at 40c
Mobil MV 34.1cst at 40c

Mobil-1 10040 at -40c
Mobil MV 9260 at -40c

Strategically left out data to prevent directly comparing the M1 vs MV.

Bye bye Mobil1 ATF! No more buy buy Mobil1!

It is a premium ATF for what it specs. If it doesn't meet your trannys spec then buy what does. Quite simple I would say.
