Hs anyone tried to run this as a bypass? I see on my Dodge site that they are running this baldwin as a first filter and then running directly into BP100 or BP110..

Thoughts / feedback??

I highly doubt it's as efficient as the Amsoil or other mainstream bypass filters. It wouldn't hurt to run it in series with a better bypass filter but it's just a whole lot of extra fuss and wasted space in my opinion.

I don't just asking....I just wondered if anyone had any experience with this filter? Also noted that the owner says his oil does stay clean for 6k miles using in tandom ( I think it is a 3rd gen 5.9L??)

Well, you would not load the Amsoil EaBp with any larger particles. It should last longer. I dunno about doing a better job. I hope to try putting a TP filter behind an Amsoil EaBP and see how long it lasts. I imagine if you could put a EaO/EaBp/TP in line, it they would all last a very long time.

Naturally, it would cost you an arm and a leg in initial costs.

Last time I didn't change my Frantz filter for 5-6,000 miles and it was still heating up.

I've tried just about every combo I can think of and I can't figure what Baldwin you're looking at.

Well, he may very well be. I really can't see why he couldn't. It's just an odd selection unless you just happen to have a spare fuel filter base hanging around. The filter has a 10um rating in WIX and it is the extended duty version. In this capacity, I imagine a number of hydraulic filters would do well too.
