Jack stand question

I am also not sure about the stands. I would like to know though.

But, after buying some 8000 pound Rhino Ramps I found they are rated for four ramps or 2000 apiece. I wish I had bought the 12,000 pound ones for a little more. I won't put my diesel PU on these ramps but should be OK for my cars; but a little extra would be nice too.

i used the best kind of ramps the other day. timber planks i found lying around the yard, staggered. can't fall down, and easy to drive onto, and i set the angle i drive up. best of all pretty much free

One would think they would be rated per jack stand. If one needed a 2000 lb jack then one would need a 2000 lb jack stand to cover the jack.

HF jack stands say the rated load needs to be evenly distributed across two jack stands.
