Great forum with great members.
Just switched to GC 0w30 from Mobil 5w30 with 134000 miles on the clock.Any suggestions for any other better oil with 5K OCI's.
Thank you!

You might wanna think about a high mileage synthetic like Maxlife Syntec but what you are using is pretty good as well.

I say the GC is a fabulous choice. You could probably go longer than 5k, though it should be confirmed by UOA. Any name brand oil today should be able to do 5k easy, depending on application. If you could describe your commute or other driving characteristics, a better oil choice may come about.

Welcome to the forum!

Thanks! All of you fabulous fellow members.
I usually commute to work around 40 miles round trip combination of state route + interstate with couple of 750 mile round trips to Chicago every year.I felt quite a difference when switched to GC like easy startup early morning, less valve noise, engine feels very smooth during acceleration, improved gas mileage.By the way I used only Mobil 1 since the car has 40K also it has a 4.1L V8.
Other options considered before GC were
MOTUL 8100 5W30
ENEOS 0W50
LUBROMOLY 0W40
MOBIL 1 0W40.

How would you define "better oil"?

In my former G50 Q45 I used various 10W-30's. That's a fine choice for southern states but what you are using now is a better choice for Ohio's weather.

All the oils you mentioned are about as good as they get. Don't know what else you could want. I'd considered stretching the OCI and doing analysis to see what really is going on inside your engine. I do not believe the VH41DE is hard on oil.

Better oil - (still in quest) the best out there regardless of price for my motor.I agree, the VH41DE is not hard on oil .
My concern is engine wear, smoothness, etc.I already got kit from Blackstone which i'll send them a sample for UOA at 140k.
Thanks!

Read my signature...I have the same car as you! Man, I've been using anything that is on sale. MC 5000, NAPA dino, Valvoline ML all doing 5k oci's.
