Post your current MPG

I also forgot that the a/c is run on both of my Toys most all summer, except for those "nice" summer nights we get a few of.

Last two tanks have been 29.2 and 28.7 on a '96 Saturn SL2 Automatic.

Mostly city driving.

Easy foot when I drive it. If I drove it the entire time, I'm sure it'd be 30+ as my mom has a heavy foot.

40 psi in the front tires, 36 in the rear. But I just dropped it back to OEM like pressures as they caused the tires to wear a little funny.

A/C is on maybe 50% of the time. The rest of the time I just CRACK (not fully open) the window. I try to avoid using the A/C as it slows acceleration.

'96 SL2, last fill-up was 25.5 mpg. I guess dropping the tire pressure to near OEM specs really hurt the mileage.

2001 Cavalier 2.2, auto: 28 city, 37 highway
1999 Trans Am, auto: 25 highway
2004 Tacoma Ex cab, V-6, auto, 4x4: 18 city, 24.5 highway

Went on a nice trip for the holiday weekend in my 93 Subaru Loyale (4x4 wagon, 5sp) and did 37mpg...nearly all highway.

'08 Mazda 3 with 2.0 and auto trans: 34.8 mpg mostly highway, cruise set @ 60 mph, a/c medium.

For those interested in keeping track of mpg on the web, check fuelly.com. pretty interesting imo.

apprx 25-26.7 mpg with 05 TACOMA 4.0L v6, AT, 4WD, Michelin tires@35 psi, Amsoil SVG gear oil, Amsoil SSO 0W-30 motor oil, Amsoil EA air & oil filter, top teir Shell 93 octane gas, FP60, conservative driving.

55-61 mpg with 92 Honda CIVIC VX, 1.5L, 5 speed MT, Michelin tires@35 psi, Amsoil MTF, conventional 5W-30 (soon to be Amsoil 0W-20/5W-30 mix), top teir Shell 87 octane gas, FP60, conservative driving.

50/50 highway/town:

28.78L of fuel, went 238Km.

238Km = 147.89 Miles
28.78L = 7.60 Gallons (US)

So it looks like ~19.5 MPG average on a 50/50 split in the townie.

2004 Civic
294.6 miles; 100 miles highway
9.575 gallons used
30.77 mpg
So using the A/C takes away 4-5 mpg. In the spring I could get 34-36 mpg with the same type of driving. And around 40 mpg if it was all highway, but I'd give up that few mpgs to use the air in this heat and humidity.

2005 civic dx/vp (auto trans)

8/1: 515.2 miles, 12.833 gallons = 40.146mpg
8/14: 572.6 miles, 12.264 gallons = 46.689mpg
8/22: 523.7 miles, 11.137 gallons = 47.023mpg
9/2: 507.6 miles, 11.468 gallons = 44.262mpg

mix of highway/city driving w/AC on; I drive in the right lane at or slightly below the speed limit... car has ~55k miles and my running avg mpg since purchase is 42.25mpg
