I have MS Streets & Trips 2006 w/ GPS device installed on my laptop. I am planning a trip to the Niagara Falls. The route suggested by the software uses a lot of city streets for the shortest trip. I am concerning that the 2006 maps might need updates. I bought the MS streets & trips 2008 w/0 GPS and tried to install it the other day just to upgrade the maps. The error 1722 kept coming up after repeated installations. It took place while installing the voice and speech part of software. The installation did not go very far.
Does anyone know the proper way of upgrading it? I wonder if I need to upgrade to 2007 maps first, then 2008?
