Yes kids we really did walk 2 miles to school in the blinding snow. But before that we woke up 2 hrs early to deliver papers and we had to bag and tie them first and no car a bicycle.Yes a Chicago morning waking up open the front door Snow all the way to the top of the door,the Dan Ryan closed people walking down the street to get bread & milk. Just for a day no air polution back then it was bad. These things improve our values because people take things for granted today so was that one great day in Chicago 1967.
