You guys take grease to a whole nother level :)

I'll be doing a little 50K maint on the car and plan to grease up all the latches, hinges, tracks, etc. Any difference in quality with the white lithium grease on the shelf.

I see CRC, Permatex, CRC, Valcoline, and Dupont.

CRC works for me. I use their aerosol can of lithium grease with a tube in the nozzle. The grease is real thin until the solvent evaporates so it gets down into hinges and tight places.

I love useing it when doing brake jobs..for all parts rthat may end up squeeking ...as for brand...heck I am using the same tub my dad had for 20 years..and dad died 18 years ago...the stuff lasts

Damm those cans make a gawd darn mess.

I was all out of my Sta Lube can, and other than tubes, they only had the aerosal grease cans in stock. Just finished greasing down the hinges and latches with the spray can.

Next time, I'm just going to spray the grease in a cut and whip out the acid brush

chefwong, you're right

If you hold the nozzle tube up against where you want to lube and a paper towel held loosely around things it minimizes the mess.
