"Veteran of the Psychic Wars" is a great song from that album. It's also featured on the Heavy Metal soundtrack.

More cowbellBlue Oyster Cult. Once you get beyond the 2 or 3 songs everyone knows, they have a lot of material which reveals a very twisted and odd sense of humor.
My first pick in my head when I read the title of this post was Rush. Masterful stories told within the lyrics, both Getty Lee and Neil get the credit. Neil is a legend… RIP professor. For me, hands down Rush. Neil Peart was a master lyricist, extremely well read and some of his lines have made me rethink or adopt a new way of looking at things. Let alone the stories that are told.
I don't know any 2 Live lyrics.2 Live crew.... .
John Prine, "Sam Stone" and a lot more...
