Where does Kroger get their gas supply from ???

Yes and Costco is the only retailer that puts their additive pkg. in at the station with each delivery. They have an automated system but when it doesn't work they have to do it by hand. One told me it is very thick and a pain to do.
With other retailers, it is done at the terminal. Costco doesn't trust the system, thus the reason for doing it themselves.

And Kroger does operate gas stations under different names - they have a very small presence in California as Quik Stop(mostly in Oakland) and Freddie's(Portlandian slang for Fred Meyer) in Oregon and Washington.

I've seen Rinehart and Beneto trucks pull up to the Oakland Quik Stops that have fuel. I've seen them rack up at Chevron or Kinder Morgan in Richmond.
