When is cold too cold for 10W-30?

I don't need them in the South, but in back in the Midwest, I always thought engine heaters were way underrated. If I ever go back, I will have one. They made cold starts much, much easier. Plus it was nice getting heat from the defroster quickly on those bone-chilling mornings. If you have an outdoor outlet, a drop cord and and extra $30, I think they're worth their weight in gold. (And they take care of any ____W-30 questions you have.)
