My first car, a '72 Chevy Chevelle SS with a 402 cid, solid roller cam with a 7k red line and turbo 400 tranny with a shift kit.
Circa. 1978

My second car, '76 Trans Am with a 455 HO and cam, Hurst 4 speed. Only lost one race out of 41.
Circa. 1979

My third car, '77 Olds Cutlass with a 350 cid, 3 speed auto and shift kit.
Circa. 1981

1st car: 95 Corolla shared with my parents. Daily driving right now, 127k and rock solid power train, but suspensions and body is showing its age.

2nd car: 97 Integra driven daily and recently my gf takes over, very reliable and the only thing broken over 165k is the AC condenser pipe and the PCV valve. My trips to dealer was never a powertrain problem and only squeeks and rattle problems.

Not old enought to have the 3rd car yet.

1st: 1983 Chevy Monte Carlo.......I hope it's been melted down & made part of a bridge span by now.......RIP Monte.

2nd: 1990 Mazda MX-6 - Sold it to my sister in '99 with 150k miles on it. It was an oil burner. She quickly killed it.

3rd: 1999 Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner. That was my favorite. I wish I still had it. Sold it because I have to drive a lot & it drank the gas.

1st car I drove was a 77 Monte Carlo.

1st vehicle I bought was a VFR 500 Interceptor.

1 car I bought was a 1980 CJ5 with a 304 V-8.

2nd was a Mazda B2000

3rd was a VW Rabbit

1st car: 89 Mazda 323 5spd. Not exactly a chick magnet, but it was the most reliable car I've ever seen. Sold it with about 130,000 on it and the engine and tranny were like new. I miss the reliability of that car.

2nd car: 91 Toyota MR-2. This car was awesome. Mid engine, is there anything cooler. I wish I had more money at the time to treat it like it desearved to be treated.

3rd car: 99 Civic ex. Obviously reliable and surprisingly fun to drive. Very comfortable too. When my lease was up I should of bought it out. But I loved my fourth (99 Eclipse) and fifth (99 Rodeo) current) as well.

Each of my cars have a special spot with me. I always say, if I'm increadibly rich someday, I will hunt them down and restore them.

First started driving on my own in 1977.

1972 Chevy van. Started as a parts delivery van for an auto parts store. Bid and bought it for 150 bucks. Fixed up and carpeted the interior and painted the exterior brown. Cut out a round bubble window on each side toward the rear.

1968 Buick LeSabre-350 engine. Road like a dream on the highway and fuel mileage was excellent for such a large car. Brown with white vinyl top and a factory 8 track.

1972 Chevrolet Caprice. Ugly green, but the thing was a tank. 454 engine (if I remember correctly).

64 Dodge Coronet 330 4-dr sedan, inherited
68 Oldsmobile Cutlass 4-dr sedan, inherited
68 VW Beetle, owned
77 VW Rabbit, 2-dr sedan, owned
64 Ford Custom (cheap Galaxy), owned, 4-dr sedan

I stopped after naming 3 owned cars, not just inherited. The Dodge Coronet was the best of the bunch--and I'd buy one again for a restoration but would rather have an early Dodge truck or a 67 Mustang Bullitt clone. The Vdubs were lots of trouble and the Olds Cutlass sucked gas like crazy.

Dodge Dart (either '63 or '64), slant inline six, automatic
Chevy Biscayne (either '63 or '64)inline six, manual
Ford Custom (full sized, stripped down, 4-door) with a 302 V8, automatic
'77 F100, inline six, manual
'84 F150, inline six, manual, my boss owns this one now
Current vehicle:
'95 F150, inline six, manual

85 Trans AM GTA black with decals, VW Golf, MB 240D stick which served me like a champion.

71 Pontiac Grandville 2dr w/ 428 out of a 69 Grand Prix.
72 Chevy Caprice 2dr w/ stock 350 2bbl.
79 Chevy Monza Spyder swapped stock 305 w/ mild 350.

1970 LC Torana (138c.i. six, 3 sp auto, 4WDrums)
1973 LJ Torana (worked 186ci, triples, 4 speed, disk brakes)
1979 UC Torana (worked 202ci, 4 speed).

After that there was two more V8 toranas, a commodore, V8 holden ute, V8holden wagon, XU1 Torana, Sunbird (4cyl Torana),BJ40 Landcruiser, Ford Falcon, Camira (J-car), 4Runner, Nissan NAvara.

(Combinations that I wish I had 2 and 16, or 11 and 16, rather than 15 and 16)

1949 Ford sectioned 5 inches, with a reworked 1957 T'bird 312 engine. Total wet weight 2700 lb. Kinda fun. 135mph honest top speed.

1957 Ford Fairlane

1964 Renault R8 850cc (starving college student car)

Shannow, I only understood about 20% of what you said because of your Oz accent. Would you please translate to Merkin.
