No. The car is a very basic model, didn't even come with a pushbutton to open the door.

My car has one but never had Sirius and the antenna is in the rear glass. That's why I was unsure of its purpose because it seems to have no function in my case. Would a fin be installed if there was no reason to have it, maybe as a standard item?

I thought that as well, but I've seen at least as many Camrys of my era without them as with them.

All that said, further investigation suggests that it's for satellite radio.

Maybe they put an antenna and wiring on every car so that a dealer can upgrade it to have satellite radio just by adding the radio box.

It's a Camry thing. My 1997 and 2000 Camrys had them built into the rear glass too.
