A gal I know wants to sell some guns her friend had before he died.

I may buy some or all.......

Anyone know about what these are worth or worth having for a collectors item ??

ALL have minor nicks, scrapes in the wood and are moderately dirty. No rust.

- Springfield Armory Model 1898 38/40 cal Krag from the Spanish/American war

- Harrington & Richardson Topper M48 .410 Choke

- Savage Model 99E 308 WIM W/Scope

- Remington Model 06 22 SR or LR. Solder on it on the top.

- Winchester Model 61 22 SR or LR

- JC Higgins Model 58318 Sears & Roebuck 16 Gauge

Thanks....

Oops -

The "Remington Model 06 22 SR or LR. Solder on it on the top." is a Winchester & a Pump....

do searches on google, gunsamerica.com and gunbroker.com.

Once you see what people are trying to get then you can get an idea where you need to be.

Take care, bill

Yea, I figured that, sometimes it's nice to have conversations here also! They are beat up a little, so value is tough to figure...

The Krag is in the best shape of 'em all. No real abnormal visual issues with it, just dirty. I may get the little 22's also...

Well, I bought the Winchester Model 61 SL/LR today for $120.

It only had 1 little scratch in the stock, easily covered up with gun oil.

Got it all cleaned up just now & it looks great!!

Fun gun.

Good find. I need to spend more time browsing the pawn shops.

Take care, Bill

Shot the Winchester Model 61 quite a bit this weekend.

Sure shoots nice - right on target!

This baby is quiet, almost like a pellet gun!!!

The old style slide action feels like a real gun if you know what I mean.....
