Amazon shows it's a gallon. That's a great price. Too good? Might be a mistake and they won't honor it.

Its a genuine deal. I just posted gallon because it wasnt mentioned in the OP post.

In the synthetic atf dex off the shelf world, a thicker atf would be the mobil 1 multi vehicle at a 7.x, and that could be found on clearance at autozone at 6/qt.

If we go toward non synthetic atf dex off the shelf, there are thicker atfs like castrol comes to mind but thats some pricey fluid/will shear down.

Yes, the starting viscosity of ATF is not really the determining factor in suitability. One thing you do get with a licensed fluid is a known shear stability. Valvoline did state a while back that Maxlife had very good stability.
