Just curious. What do lawn mower departments look like in California? Is there a run on gas powered mowers or are they already gone.

Asinine but it is CA so what else could be expected.
I wonder if the lawn care companies stocked up. It’s still a PITA to drive to Vegas to pick up lawn mowers.
Will it be heard at the ag inspection station at state line:
"Sir, do you have any plants, fruits, vegetables or gas powered landscaping equipment in the vehicle?"

A childhood friend of mine does real estate in the San Anotnio, TX area. She said 7 out of 10 houses sold, the people are from either California or New York. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why.

Texas was 46.48% in 2020. They will be California 2.0 in years to come.
Sadly yes, I'm considering leaving since Texas is deteriorating. Crime and cost of living is getting worse now, seeing lots of ca and ny plates.
Not likely, the "politics" and oil interests are firmly and corruptly locked up in the current administrations favor.
Back to the actual topic, I'm extremely pleased with battery OPE with leaf blowers and weed wackers. If the right price for a Milwaukee or Dewalt comes along then my gas mower and edger might also get retired.
