I'm surprised it didn't catch fire. Methanol has a fairly low flash point.
Gotta be very low concentration of any such solvent. Likely vaporized before reaching operation temp.
IMO, considering the amount of fluid it would be negligible. I also think isopropyl alcohol is more common than methanol.

Probably had a pressure warning light on the whole time it was driven as well. I doubt the type of person that puts washer fluid in the oil filler pays attention to warning lights either.

I shared a few years ago that in my Navy days, we had a young sailor that was heading home for Christmas and remarked before leaving the ship that his oil was low (someone told him how to check it.) He was broke, so added water in parking lot to bring it to the full line........

We make it at work, it's methanol, water, dye and soap. I forget the blend, but it's high enough in meth to need HAZMAT paperwork and endorsement on my CDL.
That's for -60*, no idea on summer blends, we don't use it.
Some shops use straight methanol.
