I forgot to tell about the high output fuel pump. Mark down two of them. Had to change to a high output fuel pump and when it got pretty loud I didn't want to chance it going out, so I changed with another one. I believe they are zema's
I enjoy all the input I have got. I never had it dyno test but was told it was producing(at the crank) somewhere between 425 to 450 hp.
No dyno was done after I saw one. Its like they are trying to blow the thing up. I installed the charger after 20,000 miles and changed oil every 3k. Changed to synthetic oil and still change with filter every 4k.
I know that is too often but I love my truck and even though I put it thru its paces now and then its my baby. I bought a 1967 goat brand new in 1967 with a 400 cui and 4speed but this baby seems to pull harder than it did. I had a Ford 1!(1967) with a 390 and I loved it too. 11 miles to the gal empty or pulling. Coudn't keep the exhaust manifolds from leaking and I did everything.
