Filter came off of my 2018 Ram Promaster 3500 with the 3.6 liter Pentastar engine with 267,176 miles. Filter and oil had 9,369 miles, 212.93 hours and exactly 3 months. Oil used was STP Pro Formula 5w-20.
I put back in some Quaker State 5w-20 oil and an EcoGard X10040 filter.
Filter did its job well, did not tear, so I wouldn't hesitate using another one in the future. No visible carbon accumulation in the bottom of the pleats, just a few specks of shiny metal that the camera did not pick up. Metal specks consistent with the previous oil changes. I'm keeping an eye on the metal since Pentastars like to eat camshafts and hopefully I can catch an anomaly before the engine grenades itself.
