See thru oil pan cold start -30

That video was s actually pretty cool.

Reason why when the Alaska highway was being built they just keep those dozers and trucks running 24 -7.

Or in some case they actually took hot coals from a large bonfire and placed them under the motor... To keep the oil warm and thin enough to start the next time they needed to start it.
 
Only in Russia someone would run SAE 20W-50 at −30 ℃ and ignore the good old saying "Do not race a cold engine."

The manual on my old diesel said I was good to go as soon as the coolant temp needle came off the stop. Italian car....

Will check if the currznt one says the same, though the manual is in german.

Edit: same thing, take it easy until the needle comes off the stop. That's 50°C btw
