PZ-47

Hello and did a rarity today at work; changed oil and filter on a 2010 ram 1500. It had on it a PZ-47 pale yellow filter about the size of our champ labs ph-820. Not a lot of writing on the filter but looked similar to a Purolator made filter. Any info? Thank you in advance.

Also it didnt say where it was made and NO it wasnt a pennzoil filter at all; just gave installation info and thats all.

My guess is it's a Pennzoil, since it's a yellow color and made by Purolator. It also use the part number that Pennzoil would use.

going by number id say its pennzoil/purolator, i sometimes use quakerstate on my mower and part # starts out qs and is purolator made

PZ-47 is a Pennzoil number and more than likely made by Purolator, depending on how old it is.

Yeah this filter was almost a real light/pale yellow filter, bout size of a champ labs we use; ph 820. Just curious as had similar construction to purolator.
