Purolator classic oil filters

How good are their classic oil filters?

They are good, solid and cheap. You can't go wrong with one.

imho they are one of the best 3 dollar filters on the market along with wix!

I like the classics more than the P1's, call me crazy but the flow is better and for the price there is no filter better that is out there. It has a Nitrile ADBV but they have always stayed "supple" for my 4-5k OCI's and no start up noise ever.

I get QS oil filters (been told they're made by Purolator)at Menards for under $3 and they seem to work just fine.

I also buy the Quaker State filters - made by Purolator and a great deal. Right now Menards has them for $2 each - lots of Menards in Minnesota as well..

Nothing wrong with a Puro Classic - ran many, many miles with them.
