Said what I have to say, three negative posts here to start but not one related to the OP's posted Classic. That's accurate. You're welcome.

And since we're posting pics, I'll post a couple examples of filter Puro's I've used.

L14459 with 5k miles and PL14610 with ~7k miles., no defects here.

More and more often its there (or in the filter adaptor), espeically with the increasing use of replaceable element filters. What's old (like the filter on my 1949 Plymouth flathead six) is new again... ;-)
 
Wix 51522 is not a larger version of Purolator L14459. The threadm size of the 2 are different, L14459 is metric M20x15 and Wix 51522 is 13/16-16.

The Wix equivalent to L14459 is 51324, it is 0.7" wider and 1.4" longer

I read on a Silverado Forum that the 51522 with the 13/16-16 threads can be used up to year 2006. After that it's M20x15.
