Hi there, I'm looking for pure ethylene glycol. I used to buy texaco but noone seems to carry it anymore. All I can find is propylene and diethylene and blends. Does anyone know of a source of pure green stuff in/around Boston?

Thanks!

Pure ethylene glycol isn't green, it's clear. They add dye to antifreeze to make it green or red or whatever. Do you mean you want traditional green coolant, or actual lab-grade EG? I didn't think Texaco (or anyone else) sold the pure stuff to consumers.

Texaco used to sell 100% ethylene glycol, but it was green (maybe they added dye). I'd get lab grade but sigma is $$$

It is used for making paint. I saw it in a paint factory a few weeks ago. I don't know the source, but they bought it in very large quantities.
