Was just watching "America's Book of Secrets" on the History Channel. It was showing how the Secret Svc trains to drive Cadillac 1 defensively. My thoughts were that a vehicle of that weight and size would put some heavy stresses on a set of tires, particularly when driven in a "situation".

I am assuming that Cadillac 1's tires dont come from Tire Rack or Wally World. Anything special about the President's limo tires?

I imagine they are completely custom, just like the rest of the vehicle. It rides on a 2.5 ton truck chassis...the thing is ENORMOUS. Looks really cool on large American roads. Looks really uncool getting high-centered in other countries, or taking an hour to park.

A lot of promises of performance; but they don't deliver. 8)

The last set pulled to the right, but these go to the left. And no matter how much friction they cause, they still last four years.

If you're lucky or unlucky, even 8 sometimes!
