If you don't have a vehicle which has a "black box" behind the rear view mirror glass replacement is not bad. Otherwise to reprograming that black box gets expensive.

So far we have seen a whopping 1 that needed calibration it was by an outside shop. The guy that does our shop work hasn’t had any literally to recalibrate because I asked him when we got a ram in that needed cal.

He was thinking it had to do with the glass being installed incorrectly, the piece being put on in the wrong spot etc.

Glass like other parts can be back ordered and hard to get too
